Frequently Asked Questions

General

HyMulti is an independent, community-run anarchy server for Hytale. We launched on the 13th of January 2026 — slightly before Hytale's official early access window — making us one of the oldest continuously running Hytale servers and the longest running anarchy server we know of.
Open Hytale, go to the multiplayer screen, add a new server, and enter the address: hy.hymulti.org. There is no whitelist, no application, and no queue. You just connect and start playing.
No. HyMulti is a permanent, no-reset server. The map you log into today is the same map that has been running since launch. We have no plans to wipe or restart the world.
Yes. Connecting to and playing on HyMulti is and will remain free. You only need a legitimate Hytale account. A future paid support area is planned, but it will never gate gameplay (see the next question).
The plan is intentionally minimal and there are exactly two things on the roadmap:

1. Donations (one-time). A way to financially support the server if you want to. Donations are purely optional, do not renew automatically, and provide no in-game advantage or perk of any kind. They are gratitude, nothing more.

2. Queue priority (subscription). If HyMulti ever grows large enough to need a join queue (the way 2b2t does in Minecraft), supporters with an active subscription would skip the queue. This only becomes relevant if the server is genuinely full; until then, everyone connects instantly regardless of subscription status. Queue priority is tied to an active subscription — if the subscription lapses or is cancelled, the priority is removed at the end of the paid period.

That is the entire planned scope. There are no cosmetics, no kits, no pay-to-win items, no faster gameplay, no special permissions, and no advantage of any kind inside the world. (Avatar cosmetics in Hytale are handled by Hytale itself, much like skins in Minecraft, so those are not something a server can sell.)

Gameplay & Rules

Yes. HyMulti is an anarchy server. Cheating is part of the experience. The only limit is a server-side setback anti-cheat plugin (a publicly available Forge plugin we have installed on the server, not something we wrote), which will snap you back to your previous position if you attempt physically impossible movement (flight, long-range teleport, etc.). It does not kick or ban you — it just undoes the impossible part.
Not by us. The setback anti-cheat does not issue bans, kicks, or warnings. Note however that Hytale's own platform-wide rules still apply to your Hytale account, and Hypixel Studios can act against accounts independently of any individual server.
Yes. All of it is part of the server. Your builds can be raided, your items can be stolen, you can be killed at any moment, and we will not get involved in any of it. If you want a safe build, hide it well.
Chat spam is not punished on HyMulti, but every player has access to our ignore plugin. Use the in-game ignore command on the spamming player and their messages will disappear from your chat permanently. The setting persists across sessions.
Of course. There is no party or team system enforced by the server, but you can form groups freely, build together, and run shared bases. Just keep in mind that nothing on the server is protected from other players.

Technical & Account

First check our Discord — if there is an ongoing incident we usually post about it there. If everything looks normal on our end, the issue is likely network-related between you and our hosting provider. Restart your client, retry after a few minutes, and if it persists, let us know in the Discord support channel.
Please report it privately rather than publicly. Send a direct message to a staff member on Discord, or use the email on the About page. Deliberate server disruption is the one thing we actually act on, so this kind of report is genuinely useful.
Queue priority is an active subscription perk, not a permanent purchase. While your subscription is active and paid up, you keep priority access. When the subscription period ends (whether you cancel or stop renewing), the priority is removed and you join the queue like everyone else. Cancelling does not affect your account, your game progress, or anything else — it just ends the queue-priority benefit.
Use the "Forgot password" link on the login page. You will receive an email with a one-time reset link. If you do not see it, check your spam folder, and remember that the reset link expires after a short time for security.
